Not about quantity but quality

Here is an article written by Bill Gates. As mentioned earlier we see an image of Afroca that has povert war and starving children. Is that still what is happening today? Is that all Africa is? I don't believe that all children in Africa have plenty to eat and all the necessary materials to live, but I do believe it has gotten better. There are improvements.

Take a look at what Bill Gates saw and see if this sheds some light on the image of starving children in Africa.

The Good in Africa

In class we have been talking about the Images of Africa. Many that come to mind are negative. Starving children, poverty, war are among the most popular. We wonder why journalists focus on the negative. Why do they deindividualize African countries? We are not the only ones who see this trend. Zimbabwe leader Robert Mugabe has made public that he too thinks journalist only report the negative aspects is their countries. He suggests covering something positive, like football. Mugabe believes that journalists don't portray Africa the way it really is and they don't portray Afroca the way that those who live there wa,t it to be seen.

I have been reading an article about the drop in production and profit that is hitting the African continent hard. Many of the biggest economic states they have are being reduced in production and profit. The FDI is not making the situation any better. Africa's economy is in jeopardy!

Take a look for yourselves!
Another bad sign for Africa Economies
